How to do the tasks
Task 1 Fill in the gaps
The task is meant to learn and practice the phrases
- Read the given phrases in Estonian
- Fill in the gaps by guessing or finding the English equivalents
- To check your guesses, press „Submit"
- To see the correct translations, press „Show answer"
Task 2 Compile the Estonian - English thematic dictionary of lowlands
The task is meant to revise the phrases and develop a professional dictionary
The basic phrases are given in the gap-filling tasks. You will find the English equivalents while revising the descriptions of all lowlands.
You could write the phrases to Google Docs to develop your dictionary.
If you find more phrases you consider important, please add them to your dictionary.
Tasks 1 and 2 should be fulfilled to practice the vocabulary and remember the main features of the Estonian landscapes before preparing presentations.
Task 3 Prepare a presentation
The task is meant to practice giving overviews on the Estonian lowlands to incoming tourists
