How to do the tasks
Task 1 Fill in the gaps
The task is meant to learn and practice the phrases
- Read the given phrases in Estonian
- Fill in the gaps by guessing or finding the English equivalents
- To check your guesses, press „Submit"
- To see the correct translations, press „Show answer"
Task 2 Compile the Estonian - English thematic dictionary of heights
The task is meant to revise the phrases and develop a professional dictionary
The basic phrases are given in the gap-filling tasks. You will find the English equivalents while revising the descriptions of all heights.
You could write the phrases to Google Docs to develop your dictionary.
If you find more phrases you consider important, please add them to your dictionary.
Tasks 1 and 2 should be fulfilled to practice the vocabulary and remember the main features of the Estonian landscapes before preparing presentations.
Task 3 Prepare a presentation
The task is meant to practice giving overviews on the Estonian heights to incoming tourists

50% on the content of information =
25% for appropriate terminology and professional vocab
25% for logical and relevant content
50% on the ways of communication =
25% for following the presentation format
15% for giving relevant answers to questions
10% for general delivery
