HEIGHTS

Accumulative heights - of glacier origin, in South-East Estonia, with island-like form and thick Quaternary cover;

emerged during the Glacial Eras by extensive accumulation of ice and sediments.

Flat-topped bedrock uplands - flattened by the erosional activity of glaciers on pre-Quaternary bedrock plateaus;

only a thin moraine Quaternary cover has left; these areas were ice divides, being less abraded.
